This is not just a labour of love, it’s a brilliant journey into the blogosphere and I love reading these hugely creative, stylish and inspiring blogs.
Many of these writers, a large amount of them have other day jobs, deserve recognition from us here at lastminute.com because they write and create this brilliant content out of passion.
To finish off a very busy February I’m proud to reveal this month’s Oh You Lucky Bloggers travel and lifestyle top 50 blogs about good stuff. I’d like to make a special shout out to all the excellent food and Manchester blogs not least because we launched Restaurant Week in that very city on February 18.
There are a few changes and additions to the list this month; welcome to London Theatre Blog which is now updating again, it’s a great resource for theatre info.
Going Underground has jumped up a few places, as has Hollow Legs so well done to you. worldfoodieguide has now dropped off the list as sadly this excellent blogger has retired (for the time being we hope!) and while it was in our first list for January, it’s not been updated since December 10 2009.

Do you want to know how we reached our conclusions? Well, there have been a few tinkerings with google page rank, Alexa and some profiling on twitter – and we also look at youtube and flickr numbers too – but that’s the boring stuff. What we’ve also rated these blogs on is their ability to deliver compelling and engaging content about their chosen subject areas within the travel and lifestyle arena.
